The other evening I got to spend some time with Mrs. “S” who is expecting her first baby and just moved to the area last month. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances her husband was not able to join us for the session. Because of complications we had to rearrange the photo shoot which created the most unique setting for a maternity shoot I have done yet. We worked in the confines of a hospital room, which I might add was a very nice room. Despite this, we were able to get some great shots that really captured the moment she was going through. Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to visit you in the hospital. I hope you like your sneak peek and look forward to capturing your baby.
These next two pictures are some of my favorites. This mommy-to-be is keeping a journal for her unborn baby girl. I know this is something they will cherish for years to come and I am so glad we were able to capture a few images as she wrote about her day.

The “B” Family
This afternoon I got to spend some time with this precious couple who are expecting their first child in a few weeks. This session was just perfect! Not only were they willing to try a fun and modern look, it was very obvious that they are over the moon with this baby! The daddy to-be even said he was planning to carry their son around in a sling for the first nine months to be able to have the same bond! I don’t know if that will happen, but I do know that this is one lucky little guy! Now on to the pictures. I am pretty excited about the results of this session. Of course, it didn’t hurt to have such a good looking couple!

Today we braved the freezing weather for the sake of maternity pictures. I must say, I’m glad we did! The location was beautiful, the company was wonderful and we got some great shots! We spent some time photographing a beautiful couple awaiting the birth of their first child. I always enjoy getting to capture this special time. It is such an honor to be asked to photograph such a momentous occasion. I am always pleased with the outcome of these sessions and today was no exception. It was such am pleasure meeting you guys.
