The other morning I had the priviledge to spend some time with Mr. “B” and his mommy and daddy. At six weeks, Baby “B” was very alert and a joy to be around. Even though he was a little older than the usuall newborn by the time we were able to get him in, we were still able to get some great shots of him and his personality. I enjoyed spending the morning with you and look forward to many more sessions with you.

Last Friday I got to spend my morning with this handsome little man, his parents and his grandmother. With a head full of blonde hair, he is quite a photogenic baby boy! The “V” Family Part 1
Yesterday I got to spend some time with these two handsome guys and their Mommy. I had a great time chasing these two around and even climbing in a tree to get some shots of them playing! We were even able to get the oldest to sit for a few portraits. However, our session got cut a little short. So, stayed tuned for part two of this family session.
It is pretty evident from the look on his face below, that this little man was proud of the rock he had found. I have to admit, I feel pretty special that I became the new owner of this great rock!

The “E” Family
I had so much fun this afternoon photographing Miss “A” in honor of her upcoming second birthday. She was too busy to stop for photos (reminded me so much of my little man)! We did manage to get a few good shots and even some with the rest of the family.
Bribery will get you everywhere! But, you better snap fast because it doesn’t last long!

{Changes}
The month of February marks one year since I officially began Tami Johnson Photography. While I have always had a passion for photography, the business side didn’t come so naturally. This past year has been a year of learning. Not only have I devoted much time to ensuring that I am giving my clients the quality photographs they deserve, I have put much time into figuring out how to make my business successful and beneficial for my family. In order to continue bringing you the quality you deserve, I will be increasing some prices beginning February 15, 2010. (I will honor 2009 pricing for any session booked prior to February 15, 2010. This includes all Grow-With-Me clients who have already purchased a plan.) However, with these increases I will also be offering some new options and products. I know that times are hard for everyone right now and hope that you understand my decision to increase my pricing. Thank you to everyone that has given me the opportunity to photograph your children, families and weddings. It is truly an honor.
With that said, I am looking forward to a great 2010. We have lots of new changes coming. We are currently in the processing of changing our website to make it more user -friendly. We have lots of new products to offer. In addition to these things, we will be starting a monthly newsletter. The newsletter will give updates on upcoming events and specials. Today we got to spend time with some friends photographing the newest member of their family. With two beautiful little girls already, Symone is definitely no exception. Dad has his work cut out for him when these three become teenagers! We really enjoyed getting to spend time with you all today. Thanks for sacrificing the Colts game to let us photograph your precious family!

{Change is coming}
Hello everyone. I wanted to give an update as to what we have been doing other than maternity shoots and booking weddings. January is a historically slow month which has given us plenty of time to finish up some stuff that we have been working on since December. Our goal is to provide a unique, fun experience for the customer, not just another session. We also want to offer some fun, and awesome stuff to show off your favorite pictures other than the standard print. Tami and I have worked on a new site which has taken a large amount of time! We finally decided to hire someone to do a new site for us. Theresa at Blogs for Photogs is currently making us a site and we are super excited to see the results. She makes some truely awsome sites. In an attempt to offer the highest quality product we have ordered samples of prints, books, and other stuff from 8 different proffesional labs to evaluate whether we want to switch from our current company. We designed over 20 different logos before finally deciding on one Tami made that we felt represented our mission and vision. Tami also designed some awesome CD cases for our new products. Everything should be up and running along with price changes by February first. Also, no post is complete with a picture, here is one we took of our little man the other day. He is so much fun!!
